It's time to introduce some extravagance into your home. Gold curtains add that warmth, a luxurious shimmer and a touch of outright glamour to any room. Complement gold curtains with a deep navy blue or purple for a regal look. Add a splash of neutral paint or subtle beige paint to tone down their exuberance and create a harmonious interior that’s refined and elegant. Brown paint adds just the right amount of rustic charm when partnered with gold kitchen curtains. Or turn a humble bathroom into a gloriously indulgent space with gold bathroom curtains and fresh white paint with matching gold fixtures and fittings.
If you prefer something a little more relaxed, gold curtains coordinate beautifully with warm colours to create a bedroom with just the right amount of lavishness and a relaxing ambience. The metallic shimmer of the material refracts the light in a living room, while gold bedroom curtains lined with blackout material ensure your sleep is never disturbed by outside ambient light. Gold is a surprisingly versatile colour that can be as gloriously OTT or sublimely subtle as you want.
What lining do I need for my curtains?
We offer various lining options for our made to measure curtains. Each has its own practical properties while also enhancing the overall look and feel.
- Our standard lining is the most affordable option and is used solely to enhance and give your main fabric a backing, helping to protect the fabric from direct sunlight by filtering out the light in the room whilst also creating a nice drape. This light filtering option is lightweight and produces a soft natural glow in daylight hours. Available in ivory.
- Our satin finish lining is medium weight that gently filters out light whilst creating an improved drape and finish. Satin lining is available in ivory and white.
- Our blackout/thermal lining is a specialised heavyweight lining option and our top pick to eliminate light from the room when drawn. It also helps protect the main fabric from direct sunlight to avoid fading. Our blackout/thermal lining helps keep the room cool in summer by reducing the amount of light dispersing into the room, and during those colder months, it helps retain heat, making this a fantastic choice for bedrooms. Other benefits include reducing energy consumption and noise pollution. This option is ideal for windows and doors with a draft and gives a beautiful drape and finish. Our blackout/thermal lining is available in two colours, ivory and white.
- Interlined curtains contain an extra layer of lining that is placed between your main curtain fabric and the backing/lining. The interlining provides greater thermal efficiency and gives your curtains more body. This is a great option if you want your curtains to have a fuller look, creating a more opulent and luxurious feel.
What kind of fabric is used to make your curtains?
Will there be joins in my Curtains?
Larger curtains will require a join in the fabric. Curtains over 1260mm wide will have a single seam in the fabric. If your fabric contains a pattern, the panels will be pattern matched across the seams.
Are blackout and thermal curtains the same product?
