Yellow Paint
Colour
From earthy ochre to vibrant sunflower, spicy mustard or pastel primrose, yellow brings a smile and a dash of sunshine into any home. Once neglected in the palette of most designers, yellow is now a feature colour that has undergone a revival in recent years. Now, it’s the colour that perfectly partners almost any combination, from green and blue to subtle neutral colours like grey and white.
Turn a dull kitchen into a sparkling, lemon-fresh palace with pops of gloss yellow colour on doors and drawers, combined with charming floral blinds or curtains to give it that homely feel. A bathroom becomes a zesty, energetic place with yellow and white as the ideal partnership, while a spare bedroom turns into a welcoming and inviting space with primrose yellow and soft sage green. For a more dynamic and modern look, be bold and perfectly partner yellow and black with a striking wall mural. Yellow makes a fabulous choice for a neutral nursery, or add pale pink or blue for a gender-specific space alongside lively yellow for a playroom that stimulates the imagination.
Are your paints water or oil based?
Each of our paints are water-based, which means they are all low odour and have a lower VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) level than any oil-based paints. It also means they are extremely quick drying, meaning you can get more out of your project in less time. Volatile Organic Compounds contribute to atmospheric pollution when they evaporate (when the paint dries), and they can be found in chemicals used across many industries such as soaps, building materials, and cleaning products.
