MURALS - FAQS
Here are some of our most frequently asked questions about our murals.
Measuring & Samples
Often used as a feature wall, our bespoke murals allow bigger, bolder designs that aren’t achievable with traditional wallpaper. Unlike the repeat patterns you’ll find with wallpaper, a bespoke mural is a whole image or design printed specifically to your chosen size. So you can choose one of our statement designs and customise it to perfectly fit your walls exact measurements.
Mural sample packs are available on selected patterns and we are working on making these available for the whole range. If a sample is available you will see this on the product page. If your chosen design doesn’t have a sample option you could always order a pack from another design, as it will still help with your choice of finish.
For your mural to be a perfect fit, all we need is the maximum height and width of your wall. We advise measuring the width at the top middle and bottom of the wall and measuring various points across the wall for the height, this will ensure that the measurements that you give are the maximum height and width.
If you give the maximum height and width, we will do the rest. We automatically add approx 1-2% to both the width and height to allow for any minor inaccuracies with measuring.

From placing to receiving your order should take around 5 working days. Occasionally, when demand is very high this may be extended. Take a look at our delivery information here for our most up to date shipping times.
Whilst we endeavour to keep our delivery timescales as up to date as possible, there are occasions where delays may occur which are beyond our control. For this reason, please ensure that you have your products in your possession and inspected before booking a decorator. Often decorators will charge a cancellation fee, unfortunately we would be unable to consider reimbursing any costs in this situation.
Your mural will be printed to order and will arrive in strips that are 50cm wide, it will look very similar to a roll (or multiple rolls) of wallpaper.

Yes, you can! If you have multiple neighbouring walls, all you need to do, is measure the height of the highest wall and then combine the width of each wall. The customise tool will not allow dimensions that will give a poor resolution print, so if your area is larger than the limit, you may need to order your mural in sections for the highest resolution quality. The height of the walls is your consistent measurement, then you can adjust the width as required for each section. If you customise your murals for each wall and take screenshots, you will get a good idea of how they will look side by side. Most murals are not designed to repeat, so the crop selection would be at your discretion. If you have one long wall for a bespoke mural, just measure the wall as you would normally, calculating the height and width of the single wall, and if the wall is too large for a high-quality print, then you can build in sections, as mentioned above.
Some deep coloured wall murals may need their edges coloured with a slightly lighter tone of chalk or pastel, to prevent white edges showing. Best way to colour the edges is to do it before hanging the wall mural, by running the crayon up both sides of the paper once it has been cut into individual strips.
