Colour
Neutral paint provides you with a clean, simple and versatile foundation for any décor, whether you’re bringing a tired heritage home back to life or adding a new design element into an up-to-the-minute space. Neutral paints are incredibly flexible, working with both warm and cool tones and perfectly partnering every colour from blue to red, oranges or mustard yellows. You can also introduce them into an earthy palette with complementary colours such as sage green or a vivid chocolate brown.
Neutral paints also bring out the best in subtler tones such as pastel colours or allow the nuances of a bold wall mural or signature wallpaper to come to the fore. Neutral is the quiet yet essential element in a living room, harmonising with your primary colour choice and adding extra layers to your palette to create interest. In a hallway, neutral paint can be the foundation of a striking gallery wall, covered with paintings, cherished photos and wall art that represents your personality. With a range of indoor paints in neutral tones, Graham & Brown paints are suitable for high-temperature and high-humidity environments like kitchens and bathrooms.
Are your paints water or oil based?
Each of our paints are water-based, which means they are all low odour and have a lower VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) level than any oil-based paints. It also means they are extremely quick drying, meaning you can get more out of your project in less time. Volatile Organic Compounds contribute to atmospheric pollution when they evaporate (when the paint dries), and they can be found in chemicals used across many industries such as soaps, building materials, and cleaning products.
