Green paint covers a wide range of shades, from the palest pastel to bright grass and pistachio hues through to deep bottle green that’s the perfect choice for a heritage library or living room. A subtle blend of blue and yellow imbues green paint with real depth and a balance of both cool and warm elements that allow it to perfectly partner with a huge variety of colours. The natural beauty of green makes it an obvious pairing with colours such as beige and brown, creating a wonderfully potent, earthy palette that’s ideal for country homes and cottage-style interiors.
For a more unusual combination, green and pink work surprisingly well together, bringing a soothing and restful ambience to a traditional living room, especially when combined with a signature floral wall mural or classic wallpaper design. And forget the adage that ‘blue and green should never be seen’, because green and duck egg blue are a match made in heaven. In a contemporary setting, green and grey - both warm and cool variations - is a winning partnership, adding a sleek sophisticated ambience to a large living room or bedroom.
Are your paints water or oil based?
Each of our paints are water-based, which means they are all low odour and have a lower VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) level than any oil-based paints. It also means they are extremely quick drying, meaning you can get more out of your project in less time. Volatile Organic Compounds contribute to atmospheric pollution when they evaporate (when the paint dries), and they can be found in chemicals used across many industries such as soaps, building materials, and cleaning products.
